Day 3: London's First Rathayatra and Lord Jagannatha’s Glories

TUESDAY 26TH NOVEMBER

Did you know Lord Jagannatha, Lord Baladeva and Subhadra Devi appeared before Sri Sri Radha-Londonisvara, and therefore were the first ISKCON Deities in the UK?

These most-merciful Deities were carved by Shyamasundar dasa. Hear about Their appearance, London's first Rathayatra in July 1969, Srila Prabhupada's attendance in the 1973 Rathayatra which he described as a "gorgeous Rathayatra festival in London" (Sri Caitanya-caritamrita Madhya-Lila 13.19), and more in a day dedicated to Lord Jagannatha's glories and pastimes. The Maha Harinama will be a highlight!
