Flower Arranging Workshop for Beginners

Saturday, 03 August 2019

Express your inner creativity through flowers - one of the most beautiful creations of nature.

The aim of this practical workshop is to give beginners the confidence and inspiration to make their own simple flower arrangements for their altar, home, etc. Experience an afternoon of learning the art and craft of basic flower arranging and how to get started, with one-to-one guidance and feedback from the facilitator.

We all love flowers and may be curious how to arrange them for ourselves. You will be guided, step by step, through this workshop on how to make your own professionally designed flower arrangement. Our friendly facilitator will show you how to choose your flowers and prepare them before you have the opportunity to have some fun and make your own arrangement from scratch (even if you’re a complete beginner!).

All greenery, flowers and materials will be provided on arrival to help get your creativity flowing. And you will get to take home the floral arrangements that you will make!

You are also welcome to bring any of your own materials if there is anything in particular that you would like to work with.

What Will Be Covered:

  •  Discover different types of flowers

  • Explore different styles of flower arrangements

  • Understand what equipment & materials are needed to create your own flower arrangement

  • Learn techniques & tips on how to care for & use flowers
