Youth

ISKCON Pandava Sena

"They say that the two most important days of your life are the day you are born and the day you know why"

Youth is an interesting part of human life. It is the part in life where we as individuals are able to solidify our core values, develop our character and find out our purpose. In today's culture it is very easy to look to the exterior in order to acquire what are considered the ‘desired’ things such as fame or adoration, however is there something more we can aspire to? Is there something deeper? In reality it is really through looking internally, through connecting with something more heartfelt and more spiritual that we can find happiness, true happiness.

Would you class yourself to be a deep thinker? have you ever contemplated larger than life concepts without having been able to come to an answer? At ISKCON Pandava Sena, it is all about you. Pandava Sena provides a platform through which you can connect, interact and discuss relevant life issues with like-minded people between the ages of 15 and 25. We will be taking you on an adventure where you will take part in a variety of inspiring experiences and make many new friends.

Through our various programs such as our Jammin sessions to our university Krishna Consciousness Societies, the whole idea of spirituality will be presented to you. From the thought provoking classes to the emotional mantra meditation sessions to the delicious food! These pockets of wisdom are applicable in everyday life such as events on Stress management, How to get a 1st or Components of Happiness but they also give us a connection to something more transcendental. At Pandava Sena we encourage for you to use your talents in exciting activities. There are a huge variety of amazing events for you to get involved in from our festivals all the way to our theatrical plays.

It is said they we are not material beings having a spiritual experience but are in fact spiritual beings having a material experience. Pandava Sena is a place of compassion, of intimacy and of laughter. It is a place where we can really connect with ourselves on a more intimate level and connect with the hearts of others. We look forward to you joining us as we think out loud together!

Kirtan London

A small team of kirtan lovers, setting out to make this musical form of meditation easy, accessible and fun for everyone.

Most of the team members found kirtan through the teachings of Sri Chaitanya, a medieval saint and avatar who started a revolution when he broke the practice of sacred song and dance out of the temples, where it was being carefully guarded as an exclusive practice of the priestly caste. His message called attention to a worldwide identity crisis – we discriminate on the basis of class, race and religion, but beneath the temporary covering of the body, we are all equal. The more deeply we realise this fact, the more we can see everyone as valuable and worthy of our love and compassion.

The Kirtan London team are committed to creating opportunities for Londoners to experience the power and relevance of this ancient spiritual practise, through regular and one off events, workshops and accessible resources.
